Manager Steve Ponsford "It's going to be a tough match so we need to be on our game"

Ashton Ladies face another trip to South Somerset after bringing home the three points last time out away to Staplegrove. With 2 wins on the bounce and 19 goals scored, Ashton are hitting a bit of form at a good part of the season. The team travel back down the M5 this time turning east of the motorway and head to Ilminster who themselves had a fine win on the road last week winning 5-0 at Porlock.

The team, who will line up in their new kit proudly sponsored by Nest Design & Build, Buildec, Tremlett & Turner and SMP Flooring will look to put right last seasons matches which seen Ashton lose both home and away. A 2-0 defeat away in October followed shortly after by a 1-3 home defeat in November at home seen Ashton take no points from The Blues.

Manager Steve Ponsford commented "it's going to be a tough match so we need to be on our game". He continued "We know Ilminster have a good squad and we found that out last season so we need to be ready".  "Ignore their league position, I am under no illusion it will be tough".

The match kicks off at 2pm at the Archie Gooch Pavillion, TA19 9FE
